Just a few lower quality songs I was able to save off cassette tape. These are all original tracks.I had just moved to and was living in upstate New York in 1991-1992. I didn't know anyone except my co-workers at IBM but they all lived 30 miles away. Lot of time on my hands.... Most were written and performed on a Yamaha 500M. It had very limited memory and some basic sequencing capability so it was fun to find creative ways to get as much sound out as I could. All I had to record was straight to cassette deck. No mixers, no eq... plenty of fun!

I have always been a fan of soundtracks for movies and TV shows. Much of my influence is obvious...Jan Hammer jumps out. But I tried mixing in a lot of my other influences namely: Chick Corea, David Arkenstone, Tangerine Dream and even Danny Elfman. (long story)

I have also included an adult contemporary jazz version of "My Heart Cries" from my old band The Difference. Has always been a special song to me so I used it to try some new things on the 500M.
